What is a Chiropractor?
A Chiropractor is a highly specialized doctor that uses drug-free, hands-on healing techniques who focuses on the disorders and treatment of the musculoskeletal and nervous systems.
What does a Chiropractor do?
Chiropractors are doctors specialized in performing spinal adjustments and joint manipulations to restore joint mobility by manually applying a controlled force by hand to correct joint misalignment.

What is Chiropractic Care and what are the benefits?
The word “chiropractic” means “done by hand” in Greek. Chiropractic is drugless and requires no medical referral for an appointment with a Chiropractor. What is a Treatment Plan?
A treatment plan for your recovery may include a series of spinal adjustments combined with a program of stretching, resistance training, and rehabilitative exercises to improve muscle tone.
Treatment will vary, depending on how severe the injury is, and we may refer you to someone who will be better able to help you.

Rehabilitative exercises: supports improved range of motion, muscle strengthening, restoration of proper joint function of the spine and extremities, and the strengthening of supporting muscles and soft tissues to recover from injury.

When should I see the Doctor?
If you experience back pain, headaches, or any other pain or health problem you should see your chiropractor immediately. Once your spinal problems have been corrected with adjustments and exercise it’s easier to maintain a healthy spine.

Having periodic adjustments even when you’re feeling good is the best way to keep your spine in great health!

What if I have been in a Motor Vehicle Accident?

The Insurance Act and Statutory Accident Benefits Schedule (Auto Insurance) allows auto accident victims to choose chiropractic care, and our clinic will provide all the necessary insurance certificates to ensure a successful claim. We provide immediate legal services to obtain compensation for the accident and assist with the following:

1. Preparing a claim as expeditiously as possible, applying for income benefits, medical and rehabilitative benefits and supports (e.g. Attendant Care Benefits, Caregiver Benefits, and Housekeeping/Home Maintenance Benefits).

2. Obtaining medical opinions regarding injuries and disability.

3. Considering possible claims for family members.

4. Commencing the necessary legal proceedings and actions within the time limits.

What if I have been injured in the Workplace?
The Workplace Safety & Insurance Board in Ontario recognizes chiropractic care as effective treatment for work-related back injuries. If you are injured at work, chiropractic care is covered.

Our clinic will fill out the necessary WSIB forms so that you receive your benefits immediately while you are recovering from your work related injury.

Why Massage Therapy is an integral part of Chiropractic Wellness?

Massage therapy can be offered in conjunction with your chiropractic treatment plan to support recovery from injury. What types of payments are accepted at the clinic?
Our clinic accepts payment by Interac, Visa, Mastercard, and Insurance is accepted.

What to expect at the initial appointment?
During your initial visit, the chiropractor will examine your spine, discuss your health history and current complaints. Your appointment will include a diagnosis and a treatment plan to help rehabilitate your health so you can enjoy everyday activities again as quickly as possible.
What do I need to bring to my first appointment?
Please bring a copy of your photo ID (Driver’s Licence is acceptable), Insurance information if applicable, and any other relevant supporting documentation that will help the doctor provide the best care possible.
